The Corporate Actuarial Department’s major functions include reserve reporting as well as embedded value calculations. MARC also depends on Corporate Actuarial for assistance in financial projections including capital planning projections. Our actuaries and technical staff work within the complex regulatory environments to assist the sales support teams—and ultimately MARC’s clients—create and deliver high quality products.

MARC’s mortality research unit provides scientific insight into future claim costs, by analyzing our mortality experience, conducting original research on mortality and longevity risk, utilizing current actuarial research, and connecting to the worldwide resources of Munich Re.
