Munich Atlanta Financial Corporation Acquires Interest in Disability Insurance Specialists, LLC

ATLANTA, March 26, 1999—Munich Atlanta Financial Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Munich American Reassurance Company (MARC), announced today that it has acquired an interest in Disability Insurance Specialists, LLC, Bloomfield, Connecticut. DI Specialists is engaged in the business of disability and critical illness product development and management. DI Specialists’ current clients include a number of U.S. life and health insurers that market disability related products on a stand-alone or rider basis.
