LifePlans Inc. Expands into Canada
WALTHAM, MA, March 10, 2000—LifePlans, Inc., is pleased to announce the establishment of a sister company, LifePlans LTC Services, Inc. This company was created to serve the risk and capital management needs of insurers entering the emerging long term care insurance market in Canada.
For long term care insurers in the United States, LifePlans is the leading provider of field risk management services through its proprietary national network of over 7,000 nurses and social workers. LifePlans also is the leader in home office support products including outsourcing of underwriting, benefit, and product design/compliance activities. Today, LifePlans serves approximately 70 direct writers comprising the vast majority of the insurance companies in the United States individual and group long term care insurance markets.
