Tom Penn-David assumes responsibilities as manager of Group Department

Bert Sosnin assumes duties as Assistant Secretary and Manager of Group & Credit Claims

ATLANTA, March 31, 2003—Over the last ten years Geoff Francis has provided superior leadership to our Group Department. We have been privileged to work with our clients to build a strong position in the Group and Credit reinsurance markets. Geoff has decided to move on to other challenges and has accepted a senior position at a major marketing firm.

As Geoff departs, we have asked Tom Penn-David to assume responsibilities as manager of our Group Department. Tom has worked at Munich American for 20 years in a variety of roles, most recently as Second Vice President in our Treaty Coastal Region in a marketing role. Over the next few months, Tom looks forward to meeting our group and credit clients, learning about their companies and their reinsurance needs, as well as working with them to meet their companies’ financial goals.

In the meantime, Tom will be supported by our very experienced group team. Our group team averages over 15 years of experience with Munich American and the group reinsurance market. Additionally, we are strengthening our team by announcing the addition of Bert Sosnin as Assistant Secretary and Manager of Group & Credit Claims. Bert has over 25 years of experience with group and credit claims, with prior service at Aetna Life, Liberty Life Assurance, and most recently, Bankers Life. Bert will help us continue to build a top notch service organization to meet our clients’ group and credit reinsurance needs.
